Camping

Our 2024 camping season runs from May 10th through October 13th. Know that weekdays and weekends on the shoulder seasons are quite quiet, with Summer weekends being quite busy. Our little campground hosts a mix of unserviced and serviced campsites, tiny cabins, a rental trailer, as well as seasonal spots. Unserviced Sites

Our unserviced tent sites are the most remote sites we have, removed from the main level of the campground. There are 3 clusters of 3 sites, and if it’s not a peak time, you will likely have the whole section to yourself. Equipped with a picnic table and fire with, with close proximity to a porta potty and water tap.

$45 + tax. Sites T1-3, T5-7, T8-10.

Serviced Sites

Our serviced sites are quaint in size, offering power and water, with a dump station for your use on the property. Our sites on River Road and up on Mill Hill are intended for up to 25 foot trailers, offering 20 amp service, with our Pull Thrus intended for larger machines, offering 30 amp service. ​

Tiny Cabins

Our Tiny Cabins are 10 by 12 foot simple, rustic spaces that give you a roof over your head and some basic amenities for your camping trip. We have 7 of these little rental properties, featuring 2 double beds, 1 of which is up in a loft, perfect for children to sleep up in. Intended for up to 2 adults and 2 children, our Tiny Cabins offer a small table and 2 chairs, mini fridge, microwave, outdoor water tap, picnic table and fire pit. ​

$90 +tax. Sites 4, 14, 43, 51, 52, 53, 54. 

*Please note 51 is our Crooked Hut, intentionally built crooked!

Rental Trailer 

Our 2011 Wildwood trailer brings comfort and ease to your stay! It features a bedroom up front with a queen bed, two rear bunk beds, 3 piece bath, AC and furnace, BBQ and kitchen equipped with basic cookware and dishes. You just need to bring your own bedding and towels! Sleeps up to 6 people, between the bed, bunks and fold down table and couch. ​

Monthly & Seasonal Camping

For folks wanting to camp with us on a monthly basis, we have space on Mill Hill for trailers up to 26 feet in length. We offer 50% off of our overnight rate for monthly stays, at $700 per month.

Our seasonal spots are ideal for folks who want to camp with us from mid May to mid October each year. Our seasonal rate is $2,000 plus tax and metered power. For more information on seasonal camping and to be added to our waitlist, please reach out to us for a Seasonal Application Form.  

Rules & Regulations

  • Check in is at 1pm and check out is at 11am. Check in during our office hours (found on our Contact page), and let us know if you will require a late check in. 

  • Campsites are modest in size, intended for 1 RV, trailer or tent per site, and 1 vehicle. Additional vehicles park in visitor parking found outside the office or beside the shelter.

  • Fees are calculated based on 1 family per site, or 2 adults and up to 4 children. Additional campers can pay a surcharge of $5 per adult and $2 per child per night.

  • Daytime visitors are to check in at the office, arriving anytime before 9pm and exiting by 11pm. 

  • The speed limit is 10 km / hour and bicycles are not to be ridden after dark. Children on bikes require helmets.

  • Children are not to be left in the park without adult supervision, and are to be on a campsite by 11pm.

  • Midnight is quiet time. This means no music, singing or loud talking, with excessive noise prohibited at all times. 

  • Cannabis products are to be used discreetly and responsibly on a campsite or private area away from children.

  • Dogs are more than welcome at this campground! Please have them in your control and on a leash, have them refrain from excessive barking, and clean up after them.

  • Campfires are subject to Nova Scotia burn ban restrictions. There are no fires permitted between 8am-2pm, and at 2pm we can check the Burn Safe website to see if we can burn at 2pm, 7pm or not at all that day. We sell firewood and you can bring in external wood. Please leave your firepit as you found it, it is not a garbage can. A $10 cleaning fee will be applied if we need to clean up your pit or your campsite.

  • Recycling is mandatory in Lunenburg County. Bring your bagged garbage and recyclables to the receptacles at the foot of the hill, and compost and cardboard can be loose. 

  • Registered campers are responsible for the adherence of the rules for themselves, family and visitors. Failing to abide by the rules will result in immediate notice to leave.

  • Campers are responsible for the cost of property damage.

  • If you need to cancel your reservation, please provide 48 hours notice, and you will only be charged the deposit. We No refunds will be granted, including for early departure.
