About Us
Welcome to the LaHave River Campground!
Although we are only a half hour from world renowned tourist towns and Atlantic beaches, your trip to LaHave will bring you into rural Nova Scotia! As you drive down the hill into our forested, riverside campground you will feel like you're a million miles away from anything.
The whole family is sure to have fun exploring our 15-acre grounds, which host swimming holes, a dock, playground, dog run, horseshoe pits, darts, washer toss, basketball nets, a pool table, and so much more! Know that our campground is quaint in size, offering roughly 90 campsites with a mix of unserviced tent sites, serviced sites for tents and trailers, tiny cabins and rental trailers, as well as seasonal spots. Weekdays at LaHave quite quiet with plenty of space to fan out and enjoy the grounds, and weekends are sure to be more lively with organized family fun.

Our Story
We are Kalen, Jamie Lee and Tundra, the owners of the LaHave River Campground! We ventured to Nova Scotia in 2021 with the aim of rebuilding this little campground from the ground up, and that's just what we've been doing ever since!
Prior to operating our campground, Kalen was a Welding Supervisor for a cell phone tower company. A jack-of-all-trades, Kalen is the perfect person to lead park revitalization and upgrades. Jamie Lee was a Community Engagement Manager in the non-profit world, bringing her passion for all things communications, event planning and community to the campground. And Tundra - well, he's along for the ride!
We are so proud to be rooted in our new life in Nova Scotia now, providing families with a warm, welcoming and inclusive space to reconnect with nature and one another.
